We offer a range of extended services that run before & after school each day and during the holidays.
Breakfast Club
We want every child at Hermitage to start the day with everything they need in order to learn effectively; a fundamental element of this is a healthy, filling breakfast. The chance to socialise with peers & adults, to keep fit & play also play an important role in readying children for the day ahead.
Our Breakfast Club runs every morning from 8.00am to 8.55am. This gives every child the opportunity to start the day with healthy food in their tummies & a smile on their face.
Children can arrive any time between 8:00am and 8:45am and they will be offered a selection of healthy breakfast options. A great way to start the day! The breakfast club benefits from support from Waitrose.
All food served is halal. We also cater for different dietary needs.
Breakfast Serving Times: The final breakfast is served at 8:30 AM, and the last admission is at 8:45 AM.
Cost: £3.00 per session, which offers excellent value for this essential service. This fee may be reduced or waived in order to meet the needs of an individual child’s SEND support, or as part of the school’s short term package of support for families in need.
It’s not just about the food. Led by our dedicated team, Hannah & Ayse, children can also enjoy games and creative activities, or simply relax and meet with friends.
This gives every child the opportunity to start the day with the right fuel for learning.
After school ‘Play Centre’
Our After School ‘Play Centre’ provides an exciting, safe, and friendly environment for children from Nursery to Year 6.
Open from the end of the school day until 5:45 PM, the Play Centre offers a broad range of activities designed to cater to all interests, from sports and outdoor games to arts and crafts, encouraging both physical activity and creativity.
This service offers children the chance to unwind after school while learning new skills and socialising in a supportive setting.
- Age Range: Nursery to Year 6
- Cost: £8.00 per session, payable in advance. This fee may be reduced or waived in order to meet the needs of an individual child’s SEND support, or as part of the school’s short term package of support for families in need.
After school clubs
Pupils in Reception – year 6 can sign up to take part in a variety of after school clubs each term. We run a variety of clubs including; gardening, art, sports, music and drama. Most clubs run 3.30-4.30pm and cost a flat fee of £55 per term.
For working parents, we provide wraparound childcare starting with Breakfast Club, which opens at 8:00am and the school day finishes with Play Centre which ends at 5:45pm.
During lunchtime children have opportunities to take part in several other activities, such as sports and fitness with Iveta, throughout the year.

How do I register?
Parents can easily sign up for either our Breakfast Club, Play Centre or other after school clubs by contacting the school office 020 7702 1037 or via email at hpsadmin@letta.org.uk.
We recommend booking places in advance, as our services are popular with families.
Family Engagement Officer
Our Family Engagement & Attendance Officer provides support & guidance for families & signposts other agencies & services to them. He is full-time & can help with a range of issues from translation to attendance, secondary transfer to free school meals; if he can’t help then he’ll likely know someone who can.
Our Family Engagement Officer is Shorif; he can be contacted in the school office.
