Our school uniform helps our pupils to feel part of our team, promotes a sense of belonging and ensures that they are dressed appropriately for activities in school. It is compulsory for pupils from nursery to year 6.

Uniform containing the school logo is optional but no other branding/logos should be visible. You can purchase clothing with school logo branding from our front office or purchase non-branded clothes from most supermarkets and department stores.

School uniform

Our school colours are royal blue to be worn with grey, black and white. A white shirt or polo shirt, royal blue jumper, cardigan, sweatshirt or hoodie, with or without the Hermitage logo, grey trousers/shorts, skirts or pinnafores are all acceptable. In the Summer, royal blue and white checked dresses are also suitable.

Footwear is trainers or flat-heeled shoes in black.

Children in the Early Years Foundation Stage (Nursery & Reception) may wear tracksuit bottoms.

Uniform containing the school logo is optional but no other branding/logos should be visible.

PE kit

For PE, pupils should wear a house-coloured t-shirt, with or without the school logo and plain black tracksuit bottoms or shorts.

Footwear is trainers and may be the same footwear children wear as part of their uniform if appropriate.

Children can wear their PE kit for part of the day on their PE days. For example, a child with PE in the morning may wear their PE kit for school and change before lunchtime. If PE is in the afternoon, they can come to school in their uniform, change into their PE kit after lunch and wear it home.
